Welcome to Blackjack Gordon Setters

We are family-run and located in Cannon Falls, MN.

​

We are lifetime pheasant hunters, and only in the past few years have we started competing in hunt tests, conformation and walking and horseback field trials. 2021 was a very good year for us. Our dog Lucky won the National Walking Gun Dog Championship, and took third in the National Horseback Field Trial Championship. In 2022 we concentrated on young dogs, and Duke won his show championships and placed several times in Field Trial Puppy events.

 

January 2023 started off with a bang! Sandy and Dee Dee took first in an Amateur Gun Dog  stakes for a three point major. Duke took a 2nd and a 3rd in Derby classes, and our Nellie won a 1st and 2nd in Puppy.

 

Our breeding program is small. The majority of our puppy owners are people who enjoy hunting, but want a dog as a pet, too. Our dogs are great with kids!
