2024 Litter

Our Vegas had a litter of six on July 29th. She had four boys and two girls. We kept a female and all others have been placed. Skye is the sire and both parents are from dual purpose bloodlines and have been tested for hip dysplasia (Vegas - excellent, Skye - good), elbows (both normal), eyes (both rcd-4-Progressive Retinal Atrophy: clear/normal).

 

Both parents are show conformation champions, have a Jr. Hunt certificate, and Skye has 6 points towards his Field Trial Championship. Twice he has been the National Gordon Setter Club of America (GSCA) Derby Dog of the year (for dogs under the age of two). Vegas is my husband's hunting dog, and does a terrific job on finding pheasants in S.D. 

 

Last year we kept a puppy from Vegas' litter, and she won the GSCA National Specialty show (6-9 months class) in Gettysburg, PA. She won her championship title at one year of age.
